Neil Starkie of Savills made it plain that there is less than a year’s worth of modern warehouse space left in the West Midlands.
According to his research, there is currently only “2.65 million sq ft of grade A space available, however, about ten per cent is under offer leaving 2.4 million sq ft up for grabs but the average take up [in the West Midlands] is 2.65 million sq ft a year, so technically there is less than a year’s supply.”
