Shoe designer Terry De Havilland has outsourced its logistics for the first time awarding a 12 month supply chain contract to DHL’s supply chain, express and freight divisions.
The contract covers the transport, storage and delivery of the designer’s shoes.
Shoes will be collected from a factory in Spain and delivered to global consumers purchasing online, as well as to retail outlets and DHL’s facility in Barking, for UK distribution.
Darren Spurling, managing director of Terry De Havilland said: “The
agreement with DHL marks a new era for us… and has given greater accessibility and availability to the recently introduced Terry De Havilland ready to wear line.”
