Pharmaceutical manufacturer Bristol-Myers Squibb has renewed its distribution contract with Yusen Logistics.
BMS co-loads products from multiple plants, as well as with other pharmaceutical manufacturers using the logistics firm’s European pharmaceutical distribution network, known as its “superhighway”.
Eric Plouffe, EMEA associate director – transport, compliance & logistics planning at BMS, said: “Yusen Logistics have proved their ability to evolve as BMS’ business requirements have changed. At the same time, they have delivered innovative solutions leading to significant cost savings.
“The superhighway provides a temperature-controlled, quality-approved secure solution which meets the ever-increasing regulatory requirements demanded by European health agencies. Extending our partnership will enable us to continue to derive benefits within our supply chain while also enjoying additional cost savings.”
