Scottish knitwear company Pringle has renewed its contract with Torque, the Leeds-based logistics operator which changed its name from the Elite Group earlier this year.
Torque handles imports, processing, storage and picking and despatch and provides fulfilment for Pringle’s retail stores in the UK and The Netherlands. It also covers online orders and wholesale customers. In total, it handles 80,000 units a year from Pringle.
Colin Anderson, Pringle’s manufacturing and procurement director, said: “Our aim is to ensure our customers get the service that represents the Pringle ethos. It is crucial we work with a logistics partner that can deliver this.”
