Codegate waste tracker trial
The Environment Agency has completed a pilot project using Codegate’s software for Waste Tracking, which enables customers to track their waste management and recycling performance across multiple carriers, materials recovery facilities, disposers and brokers.
The pilot began in 2009. Terran Churcher, Codegate’s chairman, said: “mobileworker for Waste Tracking enables waste producers to fulfil their Duty of Care by providing a full audit trail of waste collected, moved, sorted, recycled or land filled.
“Producers can now monitor the movement of waste, measure the amount of waste produced and importantly, manage how the waste is disposed.”
