Software supplier Trendnet has awarded a fulfilment contract to Ingram Micro Logistics, the technology products and supply chain management company.
Under the contract, products will be shipped from Ingram Micro’s Netherlands distribution centre to Trendnet’s distributors and retailers across Europe.
Trendnet intends to leverage IMLogistics’ third party logistics capabilities to strengthen its supply chain.
Lilian Yao, director of operations of Trendnet, said: “Working with Ingram Micro is not new to us as they are a distributor for our products, but as we were looking for a European warehouse that could support our growth we compared them to some of their competitors and they showed flexibility and scalability that none of the others could offer. Besides that their thorough knowledge of the EMEA-markets enables us to grow our market share”
Robert Gifford, executive vice president global logistics and responsible for IM Logistics globally, said: “Trendnet is one of the many opportunities we started up in EMEA in the past year and shows that our Logistics model is starting to be adopted in the EMEA market”.
TRENDnet enables users to share broadband access, multimedia content and networked peripherals, and supplies wireless, fibre, switch, gigabit, keyboard/video/mouse, internet camera, print server, powerline, bluetooth, storage server, power over ethernet, and multimedia accessories.
