Irish express carrier Nightline plans to treble the size of its Belfast depot. Nightline chief John Tuohy said it would invest several million pounds to convert the 50,000 sq ft warehouse into a complex capable of supporting its work with mobile telecommunications, games consoles, fashion, pharmaceuticals and food brands.
“The scale of the increase in size we need in Belfast is an immediate indication of the rise in volumes of parcel traffic which we are seeing pass through our existing Northern Ireland hub.”
The company has already set out plans for a €5.5 million redevelopment of its Dublin headquarters.
