City Link’s operations director Mark Tapper has resigned to pursue other business interests.
However, he will continue to work with the company on a number of projects through to the first quarter of next year.
Ian Doherty, who has been working with the business for several weeks, has been appointed interim operations director with immediate effect. The company said he brought with him a wealth of experience having previously held a number of logistics and general management positions.
Tapper has been with City Link for some 12 years. Sales and marketing director Duncan Faithful said: “Mark has been a key member of the executive team and we wish him every success.”
