Honeywell has launched an update to its Remote MasterMind for Mobility 2.5 software, which can now can now track operational metrics such as battery life, bar code scans, and keypad/touch screen interactions.
Remote MasterMind is a tool installed in some Honeywell scanners that integrates with any remote management software
The update provides users with remote access to software distribution, data configuration and asset tracking, as well as device performance measurement.
Honeywell has also launched the 1900 Color scanner, which it reckons is the industry’s first hand-held, area imaging, colour scanner.
