By wpengineHertfordshire County Council took on Gideon Hillman Consulting to optimise operations at its 80,000 sq ft warehouse in Welwyn Garden City, to increase throughput of supplies to local authority projects and schools.
The site now has a new picking strategy, and new systems for receiving goods, stock replenishment, labelling and packaging, which allow increased product range and throughput.
