Irish delivery company Nightline is investing €200,000 (£171,000) in its IT infrastructure to handle its growth.
The development in its Smartship system will include more powerful servers at the company’s Dublin headquarters and Motorola hand-held terminals for drivers.
Chief executive John Tuohy said: “We’ve gone from handling 1,000 transactions each week to around 130,000 transactions per day, so we need IT which can cope not just with our current levels but with still greater volumes.”
