DHL is inviting applications from young scientists and entrepreneurs for the DHL Innovation Award which carries a 5,000 euro prize.
“This competition is essential for us to promote innovative young scientists who make a contribution to future and sustainable logistics,” said Steffen Frankenberg, head of DHL Solutions and Innovations.
Ambitious undergraduates, graduate students and research associates are invited to participate along with young entrepreneurs. A prerequisite for all applicants is that they deal, or have dealt, intensively with a practice-orientated solution for the logistics industry as part of a thesis or business plan.
The winning candidate will also have the opportunity to present their vision and to discuss practical solutions with top heads of industry and experts at the DHL Innovation Day 2012. Applications can be submitted until 31 December.
