Fashion brand Dazzle is implementing RFID across its China retail chain with support from UPM RFID and Shanghai BizGrid Information Technology.
The company seeks to improve logistics efficiency including shipping and receiving operations, supply chain and sales channel management.
Dazzle’s autumn and winter 2011/2012 collection will carry UPM ShortDipol and UPM Belt RFID tags mounted on its hangers.
At its warehouses, the company will use trolleys with RFID readers to scan and confirm picks. Every box will be scanned and verified at receipt.
It also hopes to improve store inventory accuracy as well as to enable item-level tracking from storage to the point-of-sale.
Shi Jie, IT Manager at Dazzle said: “With RFID technology we aim to enhance both our internal operations as well as the customer experience. Hang tags with UPM RFID inlays play an essential role in the process, providing quality and reliability.”
