Sedex, the collaborative platform for sharing ethical supply chain data, has launched a risk assessment tool as part of its efforts to drive improvements in global supply chains and reduce duplication in ethical auditing.
The tool, developed in partnership with risk analysis and mapping company Maplecroft and IT partner Enablon, offers comparison and benchmarking functionality and will enable Sedex members to carry out more robust risk assessments on their supply chains.
Features include:
* the ability to compare visually Inherent, Self Assessment Questionnaire and Audit risk
* enhanced mapping and reporting of risk
* benchmarking of intra & inter supply chain risk
Members will also benefit from enhanced reporting features.
Sedex has also launched a shortened, sector specific supplier questionnaire, designed to reduce the burden on suppliers while retaining key questions.
