Skillweb now facilitates ad hoc returns on behalf of online and catalogue retail customers, with a reverse logistics tool that provides full traceability of all collected items throughout the returns process.
The new tool is part of Skillweb’s Houndit Enterprise item tracking system, and is called the Houndit returns module.
It allow couriers and parcel delivery drivers to make unscheduled collections during their delivery rounds from consumers wanting to return unwanted purchases by scanning in all documents and to capture the required tracking data via handheld computers.
