Fashion retailer Superdry has invested £1.5 million in new distribution premises in Brockworth.
The company is moving from Barnwood, Gloucester to a Wincanton-owned 250,000 sq ft warehouse on the Gloucester Business Park at Brockworth.
The e-commerce and wholesale operation will stay at Barnwood. Recent problems with its warehouse operations and the cost of redundancies are expected to cost the company more than £8.5 million.
Superdry’s parent SuperGroup recently revealed that problems with a warehouse management system cost the group some £8.8m.
