Norbert Dentressangle’s sales for 2011 were 26 per cent up on the previous year at 3.6bn euros (£3bn).
The logistics division saw the strongest growth rising 28.2 per cent to 1.6bn euros (£1.3bn) while the transport division sales were up 20.2 per cent to 2bn euros (£1.6bn). Freight forwarding sales rose to 86m euros (£72m).

Chief executive officer François Bertreau said: “Acquisitions in 2011 (TDG and APC Beijing International) have bolstered our group’s international profile and put us in very good standing in the freight forwarding market. Despite this solid performance, we have remained watchful of changes taking place in our customers’ business, which at the end of the year showed signs of slowing.”
The group said operating profit before goodwill would show an increase for the year. The full annual results will be released on 29th February.
