Insolvency practitioner SFP has been appointed administrator of Sensible Transport Limited after the firm encountered financial difficulties, leading to debts of almost £1 million with a sum owed to HMRC.
Sensible Transport, based in Templecombe, Somerset, is a road haulage and transport firm that employs 67 people and has an annual turnover of approximately £8 million.
SFP’s Daniel and Simon Plant were appointed joint administrators on 26th January.
“Sensible Transport has run into cashflow difficulties and we are currently in discussions with interested parties for a sale of the business as a going concern,” said Plant.
