Development charity Transaid has hired two new staff members, reflecting its growth and a scaling up of its projects for 2012.
Valerie Johnson has joined as head of finance and Jacqueline Hector has become corporate partnerships manager.
Transaid, which supports transport projects in the developing world, is now operating in eight African countries – more than ever before.
Chief executive Gary Forster said: “We are fortunate enough to have had a very successful 2011 which happily means our workload has increased.”
