Dachser has invested in more than 1,500 Citizen thermal printers throughout its operations in Europe.
It decided to standardise on Citizen printers after a series of test. The first sites in France were equipped with the CLP-7202e models; now replaced by the new generation CL-S700 printers.
Gaëtan Mandin, administration manager of the information systems department, said: “The majority of the printers are positioned at the shipping docks in our sites where transport labels are needed. They are placed in mobile workstations that protect the computer and are connected to both the computer and the network.”
