Young’s Seafood, part of the Findus Group, has chosen Kewill’s trade and logistics system to manage data across its multitude of brands and trading partners, through a single hosted platform.
It will implement Kewill MessageBroker, a fully hosted service which connects any system to another for exchange and consistency of data throughout the business. It will also use Kewill Xchange, a B2B managed system for exchange of information with trading partners.
Tony Carr, IT director at Findus Group, said: “The technology will consolidate our critical business data from across the enterprise, mitigating the business risk by relinquishing the need to rely on internal teams of specialists to handle the order management cycle – enabling us to focus on the business of selling quality food products.”
Brands that come under the Young’s Seafood Limited umbrella include Young’s and Findus in the UK, alongside multiple own-label product ranges produced for customers. The end goal is to achieve total centralisation of all business data, integrating all brand divisions.
