Jeyes, the manufacturer of household cleaning products, has awarded a five year contract extension worth over £13 million to DHL.
Under the renewed contract DHL will be responsible for handling the storage of Jeyes’ 800 household cleaning products, including inbound and outbound processing as well as inventory management.
Household names such as Jeyes Fluid, Parozone and Bloo, will be transported across Jeyes’s production facility and national distribution warehouse in Thetford, as well as its warehousing operations at DHL Stanton.
The warehousing contract has been running for some 17 years.
Jeyes products are managed with DHL’s Warehouse Management System, a paperless system that automates tasks, eliminates manual data entry processes and delivers real time inventory tracking and visibility
