Hughes Europe, which provides broadband satellite services, has hired Hellmann to provide a range of logistics services involving air, sea and road freight, as well as working with Hughes Europe’s partners.
Hellmann will take control of the management of sea containers from the USA, while coordinating the movement of air freight shipments from Coinbrook to Lichfield.
Hughes Europe’s warehouse activities, including storage, picking, scanning, stock-taking, cycle counting and packing, are also included in the contract, as Hellmann UK manages product logistics throughout the UK and Europe with dedicated and groupage vehicles
Hughes logistics manager Peter Reeves said: “Hellmann has offered Hughes Europe a logistics solution that suits the global nature of our business and will continue to help our expansion across Europe.”
