Jungheinrich is investing 40 million Euros in a new factory dedicated to the production of warehouse trucks and systems equipment.
The new factory will be close to one of the company’s existing factories in the town of Moosburg, near Munich, in German. Building work will start in April 2012 and is expected to be complete in the second half of 2013.
Hans-Georg Frey, chairman of the board of management, said: ““By building this new plant, we are making another important investment in the future of our company, which will enable us to generate sustainable growth.”
The group’s sales for the 2011 financial year were 2,116 million Euros – up from 1,816 million Euros in the previous year.
