Manchester logistics company AKW Group has launched a freight forwarding and container movement service as part of a plan to expand the business to £25m turnover over the next five years. Managing director Julian Richards said: “We are always looking for opportunities to add new services and both freight forwarding and container freight movements services are logical extensions to our business and we are all excited by the new opportunities that this growth will bring.”
The move has created ten jobs at the group’s new head office on Trafford Park to manage the services.
