Pall-Ex is opening a 40,000 sq ft northern hub in Carlisle with new truck stop facilities, to offer services including pick and pack, storage and warehousing.
The hub will be operated by RJ Murray & Son, which joins Pall-Ex as a new member.
Steven Reed, Pall-Ex’s network development director, said: “The increase in size means that our members will benefit from extra facilities and services. The Hub will become a one-stop solution for our network in the north of England.
“This is very much in line with our continual growth, both here in the UK and across Europe.”
