Six IT companies targeting the logistics market have formed The Logistics Technology Alliance to offer customers and one stop shop.
The companies are:
Warehouse management software: Proteus Software
Transport management software: Mobile Enterprise Systems
3pl & carrier management software: Deltion
ERP software: Jomar SoftCorp International
Mobile computing hardware: Belgravium Technologies
Asset tracking software: WCS
Mike Turner, of Belgravium said: “Through the Logistics Technology Alliance each member company can act as prime contractor to offer its customers an end-to-end logistics IT solution. This means new and existing customers will enjoy easy access to other technologies required for their operations, thus saving much time and effort.
And Linda Rodway of Proteus said: “Our prospective clients will benefit from a total systems solution that offers value for money with less overall implementation time because all of the solution’s elements will interface with ease.”
