Disk drive manufacturer Seagate Technology has appointed Dennis Omanoff senior vice president of worldwide supply chain and procurement.
Omanoff has some 25 years experience in operations and quality control. Prior to joining Seagate, he was senior vice president and chief supply chain and procurement officer at McAfee.
Seagate has begun streamlining its global supply chain operations since the challenges caused by floods in Thailand that disrupted supplies of disk-drive components last year.
