Barclays Bank is to provide a £10m funding package for APC Overnight’s new hub at Cannock.
Opus Land is developing the 138,000 square foot facility at Kingswood Lakeside in Cannock with a total project cost of £15 million. It will provide double the capacity of the existing site near Wolverhampton.
APC reported 12 per cent growth in 2011 and handled 17m parcels. Chief executive Syed Ziaullah said: “Barclays confidence in our business with our track record and our ten year relationship speaks volume. I am delighted that they are supporting us with what is an important stage in the company’s growth. This significant investment in the area will help keep jobs in the area – something we were keen to ensure.”
