Gist has opened two new chilled distribution centres in Stone and Sheffield,in order to strengthen its specialist temperature-controlled network throughout the UK and Europe.
The mixed chilled and ambient sites have created employment for more than 80 people, including drivers, warehouse and administrative personnel.
Chief executive, Martin Gwynn, said: “Gist’s position as a leading player in the temperature controlled supply chain has been strengthened with the addition of these new sites”.
