The British Retail Consortium has accredited Fowler Welch’s flagship Heywood facility – the first ambient facility to be accredited by the trade body in the UK.
Paul Milnes, head of operations, ambient, said: “We have established a track-record of speed and efficiency in the chilled sector and want to bring many of the benefits, such as Day One for Day Two delivery, into the multi-category ambient arena, so we’re delighted to have secured accreditation.”
