Asda has taken delivery of 45 dual temperature 15.65m semi-trailers to handle chilled and frozen deliveries from its Falkirk, Bedford and Lutterworth distribution centres.
The trailers, which are manufactured by Cartwright, are command steer with a trideck steering system.

Chris Hall, Asda’s national transport manager said: “Our investment in a new fleet of dual temperature refrigerated longer semi-trailers is not only evidence of our continued ‘green’ policy, but of our ongoing partnership with Cartwright who have worked closely with our teams on this order.
“This is undoubtedly one of our most exciting distribution initiatives and will help us to maintain our position at the forefront of innovation in retail distribution.”
