Kuehne + Nagel is to take over the book of business of Canadian group Perishables International Transport.
Vancouver-based Perishables International Transport is an independent freight forwarder, specialising in handling and transport of fresh and frozen perishable goods.
“Following the general expansion of our perishables logistics business in Australia, Europe and South America, the acquisition of Perishables International Transport allows us to grow these activities in North America,” said Tim Scharwath, executive vice president air logistics.
