Vanderlande has won the contract to supply an automated sorting system for Urgent Curier in Bucharest, Romania.
The heart of the system will be Vanderlande’s posisorter, which will be able to sort 7,000 parcels per hour.
Future modifications will allow this to be increased to 8,000 parcels per hour.
Vanderlande is also supplying software tools for gathering, storing and analysing data to improve the efficiency of the process.
