CollectPlus has installed its new Parcel Point service at the Meadowhall Shopping Centre in Sheffield, which acts as a drop box for leaving parcels or collecting online orders.

Mark Lewis, chief executive of CollectPlus, said: “For Meadowhall’s busy shoppers and retail staff this means an end to wasted Saturdays or lunchtime queuing at out of town Royal Mail depots to return parcels and, instead, a greater focus on choice and convenience.”
CollectPlus reckons that more than 85 per cent of people in UK towns are within a mile of one of its collection or drop off shop, which are typically petrol stations or corner shops with extended opening hours.
