Croatian food and retail giant, Agrokor has selected Paragon’s map-based routing and scheduling software Multi-Depot, for its PIK and Zvijezda meat and cooking oil businesses.
The software will be used across four distribution centres to automate the delivery of more than 1,500 daily orders to retail outlets across Croatia.
Paragon interfaces with Agrokor’s Infor System21 enterprise resource planning system. Paragon takes the order information directly from the ERP system to calculate the most efficient routes for the 100-strong delivery fleet.
Marko Pevec, ERP Consultant with Agrokor’s IT division, Mstart, said: “We have had great success with Paragon for our Konzum transport operation and we wanted to repeat this across the PIK and Zvijezda businesses. Paragon provides a good solution that works seamlessly with our ERP system to give our transport teams a fully automated, visual planning system.”
