Scania’s sales have decreased by ten per cent to SEK 39,338 million (3,613 million) in the first half of 2012, compared to the same period in the previous year, however order bookings were up in the UK.
Compared to the second quarter of 2011, order bookings decreased in most markets except Great Britain and Norway.
Overall, the second quarter saw more orders than the first, but the total for the first six months of 2012 amounted to 32,271 truck which represents a decline of 15 percent compared to the same period in 2011.
