Retailer Matalan has gone live with MetaPack’s Delivery Manager and is in the process of implementing the full suite of services including integration with its web site for delivery options and UK multi-carrier services.
The decision was taken to use MetaPack during a review of the services offered to their customers. Selling on-line is becoming increasingly important and Matalan has selected MetaPack as a key component in its multi-channel strategy.
Matalan’s IT and logistics director Pete Trainer said: “MetaPack was chosen specifically due to its rich functionality, ease of implementation and its future Road Map. Going forward this will allow Matalan to offer its customers increased flexibility such as choice in the day, time and location that their orders will be delivered to them.”
