Pall-Ex has reported a 30 per cent increase in freight for the continent compared to a year earlier.
The company unveiled its European service in June, providing deliveries to 38 countries. During the first full month of operation, there was a 30 per cent increase in Europe-bound freight, compared to the same month in 2011.
Pall-Ex is also launching domestic networks in key countries. Pall-Ex Italia, Pall-Ex Iberia and Pall-Ex Romania are up and running, while Pall-Ex France and Pall-Ex Polska will launch early next year.
Managing director Adrian Russell said: “This increase in pallet volumes shows that there’s a need for a dedicated fast, reliable and cost effective way to export one or two pallets of freight across the continent.”
Countries included in the Pall-Ex Europe service also include Turkey and Russia.
