Suttons International is joining the Asia Tank Container Organisation (@tco) whose membership includes operators, tank leasing companies and equipment suppliers.
The Widnes-based company opened an office in China in 1997 and since then has expanded across the region with offices in Singapore, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Ningbo, Nanging, Qingdao, Mumbai and Tokyo. The company also operates a tank container storage, cleaning and maintenance depot in Shanghai’s Chemical Industry Park.
Managing director Andrew Palmer said: “We are delighted to accept @tco’s invitation and to support their efforts to promote safety and raise standards of operation across Asian markets.
“I believe the invitation reflects the work we have done in the region over the last 15 years and aligns perfectly with our own ethos, particularly with regard to raising awareness of the environmental and safety benefits associated with tank containers.”
