Supplier relationships will form a core theme for the 1-2-1 Supply Chain Excellence Summit which takes place in London in October.
Gail Roberts, head of supply chain at The Royal Mint, will examine some of the key issues in a session entitled “Rethinking supplier relationships”.
The impact of the Olympic Games on logistics in London will also come under scrutiny in a presentation by Ian Wainwright, road freight programme manager at Transport for London.
Sustainability issues will be considered in a panel discussion comprising Andrew Boothroyd, supply chain operations manager at Virgin Atlantic Airways; Andrew Wilson, head of operations, planning and control at Findel Education; and Nick Gazzard, CEO of Incept.
The summit takes place at the Hilton London Metropole on 17th October.
