Peel Investments and UK Land & Property have submitted plans for a 500,225 sq ft build-to-suit warehouse at Liverpool International Business Park.
The application for an as yet unidentified end user says the facility will provide up to 200 jobs. The warehouse will be built on Cell 10 a 26 acre extension to LIBP which was acquired by Peel in 2010.
The joint venture intends to build a 15.3m high distribution warehouse with ancillary offices and associated gatehouse, lorry wash, refuelling facilities, sub-station, sprinkler tank, pump house, cycle/motor cycle storage, car and lorry parking, access services yards, enclosure and landscaping.
The 157 acre Liverpool International Business Park is situated in close proximity to the regional motorway network and adjacent to Liverpool John Lennon Airport and the Port of Liverpool.
The site was being marketed freehold at a price of £275,000 an acre through joint agents Cushman & Wakefield and Jones Lang LaSalle.
