Mercedes-Benz has started production of its new Antos truck which is designed for heavy duty short range distribution operations.
It will be available as both a rigid and tractor unit. There will be a total of 67 wheelbase lengths, ranging from 2,650 mm up to 6,700 mm.
The cab is 2.3 metres wide and will be available in short and medium-length variants that are tailored to the requirements of distribution transport.
The new truck series is powered by the current Euro VI engines with output ratings ranging from 238 hp to510 hp. It will be available with the automated PowerShift transmission.
