Drinks distributor Maxxium UK has renewed its contract with Norbert Dentressangle until June 2014.
Dentressangle is responsible for the national logistics operation, which distributes more than five million cases a year to retailers and wholesalers. It provides between 5,000-13,000 pallet spaces in one of its shared-user warehouses.
Distribution operations are managed by Dentressangle on a 4PL basis. The operator also provides a range of contract packing and added value services, including re-packing products from large to smaller cases, preparing and packing gift packs, adding neck collars and building display units.

Stirling-based Maxxium handles the sales and marketing of brands including The Famous Grouse, Courvoisier, Sourz, Brugal, Laphroaig, Highland Park, The Macallan, Teachers, Jim Beam, Harveys and Stolichnaya. It is part of the sales and distribution alliance between Beam Inc and Edrington.
Under the new contract, Dentressangle has also introduced RF technology and a new bonded warehouse management system to support the continued delivery of efficiency improvements.
