Meachers has invested £1.25 million in 16 Mercedes Actros trucks. The units will gradually be rolled out over the next couple of months leading up to Christmas.
The trucks will operate from both the Southampton headquarters and the East Midlands depot at Derby.
Managing director Stuart Terris said: “We have ambitious plans for the future of our business and our long-term strategy reflects the need to continually evolve to meet the changing needs of the workplace. This requires a continued investment in our equipment, our facilities and our people.”
