Cable television company Liberty Global has appointed Norbert Dentressangle to manage its warehousing and distribution activities across Europe.
Dentressangle will establish a European distribution centre at Venray in the Netherlands, along with a number of regional distribution centres, the first of which, in Switzerland, went live on 24 September.
Liberty Global is moving to a more centralised European logistics operation. The new agreement builds on an existing partnership between Dentressangle and UPC, LGI’s European division, in the Netherlands.
The company provides cable television, broadband internet and telephony services throughout Europe and South-America. Its brands include UPC, UnityMedia, Kabel BW, Telenet, VTR and Liberty.
Anita Arts, vice president global supply chain management said: “Norbert Dentressangle has proven to be a strong and reliable partner for our UPC operations in the Netherlands and I am confident and trust the full commitment of the Norbert Dentressangle management.”
