TGW Logistics has installed automated warehousing systems for four German manufacturers: ERCO, Hermle, ZITEC and HECO.
Architectural lighting specialist ERCO chose TGW for a modernisation of its logistics centre in Lüdenscheid. This included the installation of eight TGW Mustang mini-load machines in the tray warehouse as well as the modernisation of two sortation storage systems and a complex conveyor system.
A second retrofit was carried out for Hermle AG, which manufactures machinery for industry from its headquarters in Gosheim. Similarly Hermle also sought to extend its warehouse capacity to be able to cope with the future demands on its business. In addition to automated materials handling equipment for this project, TGW also provided software and lifetime service support.
ZITEC, which produces mechanical spare parts for maintenance and engineering, chose TGW to implement an automated mini-load storage system at its headquarters in Plattling.
For the fourth project, TGW is working with PSI Logistics to implement a complete storage and order picking system for screw manufacturer, HECO at its site in Schramberg.
