FedEx Express is expanding its ‘Priority Alert’ and ‘Priority Alert Plus’ inbound and outbound services, introducing them to more than 70 countries including 29 countries in Europe, Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Africa.
The Priority Alert service is designed for critical materials for the financial, aerospace, electronics, manufacturing and healthcare industries, where timing and visibility is of the essence.
Packages are identified with a bright pink tape to signal their priority status when it comes to loading and unloading. Customers using the service also receive 24/7 support from a team of dedicated global service analysts.
Priority Alert Plus includes added services to preserve critical shipments, including dry ice replenishment, gel pack reconditioning, and access to cold storage to help keep safe potentially life-saving shipments within the correct temperature range to protect the integrity of the contents from start to finish.
Priority Alert and Priority Alert Plus will also be offered on domestic services in Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, Mexico and Canada.
