NR Evans has opened a cold store facility as part of a £3.5 million pound investment at its head quarters in Cross Hands, Wales, after increasing demand from existing and new customers over the last six months.
The company is also investing some £3 million in its fleet, and is expanding its workforce in Wales by more than 30 per cent.
In total the company is investing over £0.5million in its premises in Cross Hands, 80 per cent of which is being supplied by local contractors. The investment is being used to develop a new workshop and MOT testing facility that should be completed in the New Year.
Neil Evans, founder and managing director, said: “This is a very exciting time for the company and I am very pleased with the progress we have made in recent years.
“I am particularly pleased that we are able to create new employment opportunities in the current economic environment. I anticipate further growth in 2013 across all of our activities throughout the UK.”
