Rent levels in some regions of the UK could rise 2.4 per cent in the coming years, according to the latest research by DTZ.
In its Property Times report DTZ said: “All out major cities are forecast to experience positive average annual rental growth during the next five years ranging from 2.4 per cent in Manchester to 0.8 per cent in Cardiff.
“Manchester is expected to [see rent rises] due to the relative strength of the local economy and particularly due to the acute supply shortages. Manchester has the lowest Grade A ratio and absolute level of available Grade A stock in the UK.”
